That was the absolute most amazing game of hockey I have ever witnessed and the people of Chicago, clearly, could not agree more! Last night, the streets were exploding of die hard fans celebrating the win and our Hawks bringing home the Stanley Cup.

The parade is Friday, so stay tuned for some stellar fashion!

Was sporting a friend’s urban style flat brim Blackhawks cap last night and am kinda feelin’ it! It was fun to wear and thinking I need to add one to the mix!

Did you know that today is the longest day of the year?

Had a great time on the eve of kicking off Summer last night by taking a boat ride to celebrate a friend’s birthday! Perfect evening for a boat cruise.

Lighthouse view. This is our little body of water we call Lake Michigan. I say this with the slightest bit of sarcasm to my out of state, beach-side counterparts, who do not have a scope on the sheer power and beauty.

Whale tail wake. As far back as I can remember, the sounds and movement of the water has mesmerized me. Few things can top being out on the water with wind in your hair!

To celebrate Summer Solstice, I will be partaking in a late afternoon drive to head to “the lake”. Translation = Michigan retreat.

In my near future, I foresee: dining al fresco, some chill music, quiet sunset and a bonfire riddled with s’mores. Hope you do too, cheers!
